Sandra Rivers-Gill is a poet, writer, performer and playwright living in Toledo, Ohio. She has been a featured poet around Toledo and in Dayton, Ohio. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Flights Literary Magazine, The Kerf,  UChange and Sketchpad.   She a winner of the 2015 Promedica Revealing Hunger Spoken Word and the Toledo Poetry Sidewalks Project Competitions, as well as the Toledo Museum of Art’s  2010, 2014 and 2017 Ekphrastic Writing Competitions. Sandra served as the Literary Chair of the 2016 PRIZM Creative Community Art-A-Fair Exhibition and has conducted poetry workshops for nursing home residents. She is currently a poetry instructor for a non-profit treatment facility for women in recovery.  Sandra has a Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University of Toledo and is currently working on several volumes of poetry.
